About the role
As Chef de Partie you are responsible for your own section within the kitchen. You prepare dishes according to recipes, work with fresh produce and ensure your section is always sharp, clean and organised. You work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, contribute ideas for new dishes and safeguard the quality and consistency of everything that leaves the kitchen. During busy services you keep a cool head and ensure your section runs perfectly.

As Demi Chef de Partie you work on a fixed section within the kitchen and support the Chef de Partie. You prepare mise-en-place, carry out basic preparations and help during service to send out dishes to the right standard. You learn techniques, work with fresh produce and grow step by step towards full independence. You are an important link in the kitchen team and contribute to a sharp, organised workplace.

About the role
As Assistant Manager you are the right hand of the co-owner and general manager and a key figure in the day-to-day running of De Baanderij. You support the operational management, ensure every shift runs smoothly and maintain a visible presence on the floor. You switch between bar, front of house and kitchen, keep overview and ensure guests feel welcome. You also take on organisational tasks such as staff scheduling, stock management and guiding new colleagues.
You are a natural motivator, someone who maintains calm, brings structure and helps the team grow. During the absence of the co-owner and general manager, you are the point of contact and bear responsibility for the venue.
